Michelle joined the Foundation for Advancing Veterans’ Health Research (FAVHR) in 2012 after three years as the Administrator for the Division of Infectious Disease/Department of Medicine at the affiliated University of  Texas Health at San Antonio (UTHSA).   During her tenure as CEO, she has increased total revenues by 82%.  Mrs Trimble has also held the position of Executive Director with the Texas Infectious Disease Society (TIDS), where she was able to turn a profit at the annual meeting while facing funding cuts upwards of $20,000, and with the International Immunocompromised Host Society (ICHS), an international non-profit organization committed to providing educational opportunities for physicians focused on caring for the immunocompromised populations.

Prior to her position at UTHSA, Michelle owned a private concierge business in Colorado providing full service vacation planning to create relaxing ski vacation experiences.  Michelle earned her BBA from Baylor University in 2000 and her MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2012.  She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two young children.
